Join us for MOVEMENT: A Sadie Jane Dance Performance & Fundraiser, celebrating one year of growth, community, and creativity in Brunswick, Maine. Over the past year at Sadie Jane Dance we have curated a dance community through our weekly classes in hip hop, contemporary, technique, and everyone’s favorite — heels, or as we call it, Stilettos. Bringing dancers together to train, challenge themselves, and express with confidence is what Sadie Jane Dance is all about. Movement is about sharing our experience with dance with you.
This is more than a showcase — it’s a fundraiser with purpose. All proceeds will support the expansion of Sadie Jane Dance programming as we set out to build a permanent studio space in Brunswick This will be a space for people of all walks of life to share in the power of expression through movement. A home for dancers to train, create, gather, and grow for years to come.
This unforgettable evening of dance will be presented at Adaptive Outdoor Education Center - Brunswick, a fully accessible performance and event venue on the beautiful AOEC Brunswick campus.
MOVEMENT is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event that features 100% original choreography across multiple styles — from powerful contemporary to rhythm-driven hip hop, refined jazz-inspired movement, and show-stopping stilettos pieces. Every performance reflects the dedication, artistry, and growth of our dancers, and highlights the strength of this creative community. We will be showcasing guest performers from our Brunswick Community as well as dancers from the greater Portland Area.
DRESS TO IMPRESS in your very best. We invite you to wear your most stylish, expressive outfits — not because it’s formal, but because this night is a celebration of confidence, self-love, and showing up for yourself and your community.
